How to get enroll

Students in years 2-6 are invited to participate in the academic exchange programs.

Requirements for candidates:

high academic performance (grade point average – at least 4.0)
active participation in social and academic activities of the University
proficiency in a foreign language* (English or the language of the host university at a level sufficient for the internship and for everyday communication)
ability to provide, if necessary, support in July-August for international students arriving from foreign universities to undergo practical training at clinical bases of Pirogov Russian National research Medical University (meet/conduct to the airport, help with accommodation at the University dormitory, accompany to practice bases, help with cultural program)

Those who wish to participate in the exchange programs of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University with foreign partner Universities provide the International Department with the package of documents required to participate in the competitive selection process and pass (if necessary) the English language proficiency test in the period April 01 annually.

Foreign language test procedure

The International Department shall inform the students about the date, time and place of testing by e-mail, phone, placing the information on the International Department page on the official website of the University.
On the appointed day, the students invited for testing shall gather at the designated classroom (room) at the time indicated in advance.
The testing is conducted in several stages (written part, listening comprehension).
Students complete the test tasks depending on the type of task (marking the correct answer, writing a paraphrase or an essay).
The time for testing is limited by the regulations.
At the end of the testing time students hand in their work.
The tests are checked by the International Department staff.
Test results will be sent to students by email.

Students wishing to participate in exchange programs should submit an application to the International Department (1, Ostrovityanova str., 2nd floor, office 2154A, t. +7 (495) 434-30-74, e-mail: interdep@rsmu.ru) from February 1 to March 1.

Enrollment documents for the exchange program:

Application form for participation in the exchange program, indicating, in priority order, the three universities where you would like to undertake an internship
Letter of motivation in English (in Russian for specific programs) that should specify: the reason for choosing this particular university/program; goals, objectives, expected results (academic, professional, social); justification of advantages of your candidacy for participation in the international exchange program
Copy of passport (first page of passport and residence registration).
Copy of international passport (first page).
Photo 3x4 cm, glued to the application form
Copies of diplomas, certificates (academic achievements, participation in Olympiads, awards, acknowledgments).
Approved application addressed to the Dean of the Faculty
Confirmation of familiarization with the conditions of participation in academic mobility programs
Personal data processing consent of the student, participant of the events
Consent to process personal data, authorized by the subject of personal data for distribution

Actions after winning a contest selection

Students who successfully pass the competitive selection process submit to the International Department the certificate of inoculation and an application to the Rector of the University. After receiving the invitation from the host University, the student collects and submits to the Consulate a package of documents for obtaining a visa.
After completing the exchange program, the internship report should be submitted to the International Office no later than 30 days.
